On behalf of our customer based in Ticino area we are researching the following profile:
QUALITY CONTROL SUPERVISOR
Responsibilities:
- Plan the quality control activities according to the Purchasing, Production and After Sales services requirements. - Organize the onsite control of vendors. - Guarantee the recording, reliability and traceability of quality inspection results. - Ensure the good application of the rules, the procedures and the quality instructions. - Responsible of the components and finished product inventory in the QC area. - Collaborate to all related Quality documentation with the Quality Assurance Manager. - Responsible to draft/ and ensure that Quality Control Plans are aligned with the specifications in collaboration with the Quality Assurance Manager. - Manage the improvement and the optimization of the Quality Control service in collaboration with the Quality team. - Monitor Quality Inspection results, analyze non-conformities and coordinate the drafting of non-conformity reports. - Communicate to the suppliers the Quality Inspection results - Management, follow-up and monthly communication of quality performance indicators. - Monitor the Quality Team efficiency and set-up corrective actions. - Assess the working load versus capacity & QC team versatility. - Suppliers Quality Evaluation - Participate to the new products risks management. - Define and set-up new Quality Control tools. - Manage with Product Development department or the vendors to set-up and the Standard Quality components Library. - Execute new products and components validation at the vendor.
Requirements
- Engineering/technical Degree (Micro technical, Mechanical or Watchmaking degree). - Five years’ experience in the quality control field in the watchmaking industry. - Minimum of 3 years of direct management experience. - Proficiency in tools of measurements (calipers, micrometers, vision measuring system, others) and software control. - Knowledge of MS office. Knowledge of ERP and Quickcontrol Software is a plus - Proficient in French and English, written and spoken (Italian language is a plus). - Willing to travel up to 30%. - Normal color perception and very good sight. - Certification in the quality field (TQ1 or TQ2) or equivalent training are preferred.
