Our customer is an important company, operating in the pharmaceutical field in Ticino area.
We are beginning the recruitment process for the following profile:
AREA MANAGER EUROPE
Reporting
to the Commercial Manager, the Area Manager will play a key role in the success of the company, contributing to the overall strategy within functional area of expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for the identification of new customers and serving of both existing and new customers, by selling products and meeting customer needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for discovery of sales opportunities in Europe Integrates and develops processes according to the business needs across the organization Establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements, solving issues that will concern the next twelve months and beyond. Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the region that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability, in cooperation with the Commercial Manager. Prepare action plans for each distributor based on strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities in each territory. Accomplish objectives of annual business plan, timelines, and budget, including forecasting and sales analysis. Establish and attain sales goals for European region. Identify opportunities to improve existing business and new business development. Drive market, competitive, and client research initiatives in Europe. Support general marketing activities and share industry information and customer feedback
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree (Scientific is preferred) Not less than 3 years experience in a similar role Effective
written and oral communication skills in Italian and English. Knowledge of
Spanish, German or French language is considered a plus. Proven ability to manage sales, marketing, technical support and administrative functions Development and implementation of strategic sales plans in a growing market Good planning and organizational skills and ability to work independently Driven, committed and results oriented, hands-on approach and ability to work independently, self-motivated, credibility, loyal and desire to grow within the company Personal Qualities / Abilities: Strong negotiation skills, problem solving approach and global vision, excellent interpersonal skills and team player Willingness to travel up to 50%
